The Heir races, commonly called mortals, were all species that contained the heritage of the original humans created to be the King's heirs in the 1st Age. Elves, Dwarves, and Halflings were the first three the Wardens engineered. Later came the virborne, hob, gnomes, Giants, and beastfolk.
