Kerro

Kerro were a Beastfolk people created by the Bloodhorn Wardens through the Bioweaving of Humans with rhinoceroses. Rhinoceroses were exceptionally well suited to Bloodhorn's harsh terrain and martial culture, producing a large, dense, heavily built people distinguished by thick skin and prominent facial horns.

Their creation was partly a deliberate answer to the Rhino faction of the Azure Guard, whose name celebrated the animal's strength, durability, and ability to break opposing formations. Bloodhorn appropriated that symbolism quite literally, creating rhinoceros-derived warriors intended to embody those same qualities on the battlefield. The Kerro later expressed numerous rhinoceros phenotypes, including woolly forms.
