Macropods

Created by Vah-Yu to populate steep, dry, and broken highland territory that remained difficult for Humans to settle. Their powerful legs, exceptional balance, large feet, efficient overland movement, and heavy stabilizing tails made them particularly capable in mountains, escarpments, and rugged uplands. Where Vah-Yu's aerial peoples could easily reach such places, the Macropods could permanently settle and hold them.
