Suids

Created as rugged campaigners from predominantly wild suid stock, particularly boars and warthogs. Their strength, durability, broad diet, keen sense of smell, environmental tolerance, and ability to forage made them unusually capable of operating beyond established supply networks. They were intended for prolonged campaigns through territory where keeping conventional armies supplied became difficult.
