Bruun

Bruun were a Beastfolk people created by the Azure Guard through the Bioweaving of Humans with bears. The Guard initially saw little need to participate in the growing Beastfolk arms race, but the usefulness of such peoples soon became difficult to ignore, and bears were an obvious choice for their northern domains. Strong, resilient, and naturally cold-adapted, the Bruun became well suited to both wilderness settlement and warfare. Their Bioweaving stabilized across Ursidae, eventually producing numerous bear phenotypes as populations spread into different environments.
