Warden Age Spacesuits
Warden Age Spacesuits (EVA, extravehicular activity)

During the Warden Age, mortals used enchanted pressure suits for short excursions into the vacuum of space. The suits combined a rubber sealed underlayer with leather reinforcement, partial plate armor for debris protection, draped cloth to show rank and position, and a heavy metal diving-style helmet. The helmet maintained its own independent breathing atmosphere, while the body of the suit formed a separate pressurized compartment, allowing a punctured suit to be isolated, patched, and repressurized without interrupting the wearer's air supply.
Two compressed tanks were carried on the back. One supplied pure oxygen, while a Rift-crystal apparatus separated carbon dioxide from exhaled air and compressed it into the second tank. Additional oxygen maintained the pressure of both the helmet and body suit as needed. Electric enchantments in the boots produced magnetic attraction when each foot was planted and released it as the wearer stepped, allowing mortals to walk across metal hulls in weightlessness. Wardens often accompanied mortal spacewalkers and could intervene during emergencies, but the suits were designed to function independently for the short excursions typical of Warden Age spaceflight.
Not every mortal race was equally suited to spacewalking.
Elves become especially valuable aboard Warden vessels partly because they're intelligent, dexterous, and conveniently compatible with the equipment. A Warden needs someone outside to take measurem
